What personal data do we collect?

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. For international transfers to countries outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards through adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
Vivera does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. Active customers: during relationship plus 7 years for tax obligations. Inactive customers: 3 years after last interaction. Marketing data: until consent withdrawal plus 30 days. Google Analytics: 26 months automatically deleted. Cookie data: maximum 24 months. Financial records: 7 years legal requirement. Communication records: 2-3 years.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. For automated decision-making, you can request human intervention.
You can exercise your rights through our website for cookie preferences and account data, by emailing consumerservice@vivera.com, calling +31 548 850 000, or writing to our address. For identity verification, we ask for a copy of your ID where you black out photo, MRZ, passport number, and social security number.
We respond within four weeks to your request. For complaints, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority at https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
