In everything we do, we are conscious of the impact we have. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our products and the way we do business. We’re proud to be B Corp certified, which means we meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Packaging
Cardboard
Our packaging is made from FSC-certified cardboard. It’s sourced from forests managed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC preserves forests through responsible forest management, which is important for our planet. Moreover, the cardboard is easy to separate and recycle!
Trays
The trays containing our products are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. We’re always looking for sustainable solutions for our delicious vegetable products, but food safety and shelf life obligations have so far prevented an alternative to plastic. We did, however, manage to reduce consumption by 17% by using thinner plastic. This area is continuing to receive our full attention!
Soya
We use a lot of soya in our products, because it contains masses of protein and fibre. Soya grows quickly, and every part of the plant can be used. As a result, soya is the most efficient crop in the world in terms of protein production per hectare. Our soya is GMO-free. This soya is therefore not grown in areas where it would be at the expense of rainforests or other natural assets. We hope to be able to buy soya locally in the future. The European Union is planning to stimulate the cultivation of protein-rich crops in Europe. This is something we obviously support wholeheartedly, although the taste and quality of the soya will have to meet our requirements, and production must be high enough to meet our demands. We also contribute to the RTRS organisation, as part of our drive to stimulate the cultivation of sustainable soya as much as possible.
