Steak with Chimichurri sauce and wedges

Ingrediënten

  • 1 package of Vivera Plant steaks
  • 2 tomatoes, halved
  • (Sweet) potato fries
  • A few salad leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red chili, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat a griddle pan. Brush the plant steaks and a halved tomato with a little oil then add to the hot pan.
  2. Cook for 8-9 mins turning the steaks over once. Remove the tomatoes after 4 mins.
  3. For Chimichurri sauce, in a bowl mix together: 2 tbsp each of chopped parsley and coriander, 1 crushed garlic clove, 1/2 chopped red chilli, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp red wine vinegar and season well. Serve the steak, tomatoes and sauce with (sweet)potato fries a few salad leaves.

    Heat oil in the pan. Fry at medium heat 9 minutes and turn regulary.
