Snack board with Vivera plant drumsticks and homemade sweet potato fries
2 sweet potatoes
2 tsp cornflour
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1 pack of Vivera plant drumsticks
Chilli sauce, to serve
(plant-based) mayonnaise, to serve
What to do
Pre-heat the fan oven to 200°C.
Cut the sweet potatoes (peeled or unpeeled) into thick slices. Then slice into evenly sized fries. Divide over half of a baking sheet lined with baking paper (save some room for the drumsticks, which will be added later). Sprinkle the fries with the cornflour. Mix well. Drizzle the fries with the oil and scatter over the salt. Mix again. Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes until crispy. Turn halfway through the cooking time.
Add the Vivera drumsticks to the baking sheet for the last 6 minutes of cooking time. Serve the drumsticks and fries on a snack board with the chilli sauce and mayonnaise. You can also add other snacks, such as mini flammkuchen with Vivera plant bacon.
