Steak with Mushrooms and Vegetable Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 Vivera Steak
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 250 g of mushrooms
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 350 g carrots
  • 150 g parsnips
  • 1 tsp thyme

Preparation

  1. Peel the carrots and parsnips, and cut them into thin chips. Mix the vegetable chips with 2 tbsp oil, salt, pepper and thyme. Bake the vegetable chips on a baking tray for 25 minutes in a preheated oven (175 ˚C).
  2. Slice the mushrooms and crush the garlic. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, and fry the steak on both sides for 9 minutes. Remove the steaks from the pan, and allow them to cool for 2 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile fry the mushrooms and garlic until golden brown. Serve the steak with the mushrooms and the vegetable chips, season with salt and pepper if necessary.
