Steak with Mushrooms and Vegetable Chips

4 tbsp oil

250 g of mushrooms

1 garlic clove

350 g carrots

150 g parsnips

1 tsp thyme

What to do

Peel the carrots and parsnips, and cut them into thin chips. Mix the vegetable chips with 2 tbsp oil, salt, pepper and thyme. Bake the vegetable chips on a baking tray for 25 minutes in a preheated oven (175 ˚C).

Slice the mushrooms and crush the garlic. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, and fry the steak on both sides for 9 minutes. Remove the steaks from the pan, and allow them to cool for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile fry the mushrooms and garlic until golden brown. Serve the steak with the mushrooms and the vegetable chips, season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Heat oil in the pan. Fry at medium heat 9 minutes and turn regulary.
